Linda Scholarship
A scholarship fund has been established for any Linda/Lynda, and it may be used at the college of her choice. It was started in 1996 with a donation from the Staff of Des Moines Area Community College in memory of one of their staff members, Linda Wehage-Gardner.
The recipient must be recommended by a Linda who is a LINDA CLUB member and/or be a member of L.I.N.D.A. The letter of recommendation from that Linda member must be mailed to the Linda Office by June 1st along with the letter from the Linda requesting to be considered for the Scholarship. It will then be reviewed by the Board Members and they will decide who will receive the Scholarship.
The Scholarship will be presented at the Convention in July.
In her letter we also require that Linda tell us which college she will be attending and what she will be studying.
The letter of recommendation must show the need for assistance and is to be sent to the L.I.N.D.A. Home Office address at the bottom of the page.
