For the fun of it -- we enjoy each others company and making new friends. Why

2. What do we do at the conventions? _____
Greet friends. Say, "Hi Linda" a lot. Walk. Sing the Linda songs. Take tours.
Eat. Shop. Plan for next year. Have a banquet. Sleep (if you can find time).
Laugh. Cry. Give hugs. Watch others smile as they see us walking together in our
LINDA T-shirts. HAVE FUN!!!
3. What do we do at the meeting?_____
Figure out where it's going to be the next year. Award the scholarship. Discuss
problems, issues and new adventures to be had.
4. Can Lyndas belong? _____
Yes, and Lynndas, too. Just so long as it's pronounced LINDA and is your FIRST
NAME.
5. Can Linda be your nickname.
No, it must be your first name and not "part" of a name such as Melinda or
Belinda. This is an organization for women whose FIRST NAME is Linda, etc.
6. How old do you have to be to belong? _____
No age limit.
7. What was the largest convention? _____
160 Lindas.
8. How old is this organization? _____
Been around since 1987.
9. Where do we come from? _____
Most of the members are from the mid-West and East. However we are working on
that, and now have members in the Southern states as well. We have/had Lindas from England and Norway,
Australia and Canada. So we are INTERNATIONAL!!!
10. How long has the Web Site been available? _____
Since the Spring of 1999. The webmaster is Linda Shanks and if you have any
questions or comments regarding the site ... or need to report a problem ...
